ABOUT ME

Sarah Bronstein profile picture

I am Sarah Bronstein and I am a professional interior design and real estate broker based in Western North Carolina.

I started Sukkha Interior Design in 2020 to help people create spaces that bring positive change in their daily existence and overall well being. With in-depth local real estate market knowledge and background working with real estate investors I’m passionate about helping folks buy/sell/develop their dream home through a seamless, stress-free process from the get-go to happily ever after.

After 10 years of interior design experience- from commercial workspaces to residential properties, to Airbnb’s- I found myself most drawn to the unique challenges of small spaces + tiny homes which allow me to combine my love of design with my passion for sustainable living.

In the midst of the pandemic, I renovated a 1973 Avion travel trailer named Alanis and have been living happily ever after in her ever since. When I am not working you can often find me exploring the magical Blue Ridge Mountains, catching live bluegrass music in Asheville, practicing yoga, hanging with my pup Albus, or nose deep in an arts & crafts project.

Tour My Tiny Home!

The name Sukkha is derived from the combination of two meaningful words that truly embody our goals in design and as a company.
Sukha is a Sanskrit word which translates as a deep and long lasting state of happiness, ease, or bliss.
Sukkah is a hut like structure often made from natural materials representing the fragility of existence in the Jewish holiday of Sukkot (“the festival of shelters”) which is a time to appreciate our physical homes and bodies.

“Sarah at Sukkha Interior Design is WONDERFUL! She came into my house and helped me rearrange my existing decor in a more functional and organized way. Her consultation and genius ideas helped me manage my space so I felt like I had a whole new home!”
